Theses folks turn my brain on!
Heads up! This post still gets a surprising amount of traffic so I’m adding this note to mention that it was written in 2012.
As such, several of these folks no longer tweet. Just FYI
The world is full of fun, smart, sexy folks and thanks to the wonder of Twitter you can now have a direct line to their thoughts (huzzah for living in the future!) Recently GetLusty for Couples shared an awesome list of sex-positive Facebook pages and it inspired me to share some of the Twitter folks I love to follow. It took so much restraint to limit this list to 15 (plus some extras), there are just so many awesome sex-positive folks out there, I’m sure I’ll be telling you about more in the future! For now though, enjoy this list of 15 of my favorites!
1. Alyssa Royse– @alyssaroyse
Whether she is tweeting or blogging, talking sex or politics, playing it straight or cracking wise, when Alyssa talks you want to be listening.
2. Bedsider- @Bedsider
An amazing source for all things contraception. A ton of resources to not only point you towards the right birth control but educate you as to how and why it’s right.

4. The Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health– @TheCSPH

5. Cunning Minx- @cunningminx
My go-to source for all thing polyamory. Minx is the producer and host of the Polyamory Weekly podcast and a huge proponent of the “Personal User Manual”. She’s pretty much awesome.
6. Epiphora- @Epiphora
I don’t think I could describe her better than she does so I won’t try. “ Writer of snarky, relentlessly honest sex toy reviews. Allergic to coyness and sugar-coating. You don’t want your bad sex toy to run into me in a dark alley.” Suffice it to say, following Epiphora is fun.
7. erogenoUS- @erogenoUSblog
Smoking hot and beautifully honest. erogenoUs has a gift for feeling like a friend while she stays anonymous- mystery is so sexy!

The folks at Good in Bed believe, as do I that “sex matters- your sex life in particular” (how cool is that?!) Follow them for smart, fun sex ed.
10. The Good Men Project- @GoodMenProject
Really, the reason to follow them is to know when new pieces go up on their site (answer: kind of constantly) because you don’t want to miss what these guys are saying. Some of the most thought-provoking things I’ve read this year came from The Good Men Project.
11. Good Vibrations- @GoodVibesToys
Did anyone not see this coming? The original well-lit, women-centered sex-positive sex shop! Follow Good Vibrations for news about online sales, in-store events and updates on the GV Blog (where you might just find some extra Redhead Bedhead). Also, you’re more than likely to run into the super smart & sexy Charlie Glickman (@charlieglickman) here.
12. The MamaSutra- @TheMamaSutra
Lanae St.John is a Sex Educator, a Mother, a Blogger, a Certified Sexologist and an all-around bad-ass. Follow her for tons information, humor, education and exploration (she posts great questions and actively encourages dialogue). She states as her mission “to normalize conversations about sex and sexuality between parents and their children” but she does an awesome job making the conversation open and relate-able and really normalizes it for all ages.

Women coming together to talk about sex in ways both informative and inspirational, entertaining and educational. Well, I’m sold!

15. Sex Positive Parent- @airialclark
Airial Clark’s work was the first place I learned about sex positive parenting (and then we talked about it)She is a Sexual Health Expert. Mother, Writer, Storyteller and my personal favorite Sapiosexual. How could I not love someone who openly admits that she “wants to have brain babies with you”?
