Update: The survey is closed to responses. Thank you to all who participated- the response was overwhelming and far beyond what I had even hoped for. If you volunteered to be interviewed you will be receiving an email from me shortly with instructions for scheduling you interview appointment.
Thank you all!

I am conducting an online survey to explore how people with depression feel the illness affects their sex lives. Over the last two years I have noticed a theme emerge: people are not feeling heard when it comes to addressing this important issue. This informal survey will give us information about what symptoms people are experiencing, what variables are affecting those experiences and what responses they are getting from the medical community.
You will be asked questions about your own history with depression as well as sexual behaviors. All data is collected anonymously, encrypted and stored in a secure data base. At the end of the survey you will asked if you wish to be interviewed for (anonymous) inclusion in my upcoming book. If you choose “yes” you will be asked for an email address which will be saved separately from your survey responses.
The survey should take 20 minutes or less to complete, in most cases. You must be 18 or older to participate.
You can participate in the survey by clicking here. If you know anyone else who might be interested in participating, please pass along the link.
This survey will be a huge step in creating a dialogue around this taboo, but incredibly important topic, thank you so much for making your voice heard!
