Hey folks!
So I think we all know that talking about mental health can be tough. That’s why I’m very excited to announce that I have teamed up with Shepherd to put together a list of my absolute favorite books that make it just a little bit easier. What I love about this list is that while I believe every book on it is super helpful it’s not chock-full of dry, boring therapy speak books. The books on this list are accessible and in some cases very unexpected. So go check it out and I hope you find something that makes talking about mental health a little easier for you!
A big, huge thank you to the folks at Shepherd for having me on board to do this list and for working with me to make it look so great!
As always, I think we all know there are two book I whole-heartedly recommend you all read and those are my books! If you still haven’t read The Monster Under the Bed and/or In It Together, what on earth are you waiting for! Go check them out!
One last thing: Thursday October 5th is National Depression Screening Day in the United States. What does this mean? Well, honestly the world is still kind of divided on that and it’s not a super organized thing but it does seem to mean that a lot of universities and other organizations are holding events and offering free depression screenings so if that is something you are interested in check online to see what is available in your area.
